Antivirus protection test in real time - April 2015

AV-Comparatives presented the results of the April test Real-World Protection Tests. This study maps the statistical user's environment - the everyday scenario of using a computer in ONLINE mode - that is, typical situations that we encounter every day in the network. The programs were tested in April 2015 on 417 samples (URL links) in Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit + SP1 with current Adobe Flash programs, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Java, etc.

Analyzing the results it is worth looking at the legend. AV-C above evaluates this program, which blocked fewer threats, but automatically than the one that blocked more, but it was required by the tester ( really automatic - we explain more in the AV-Comparatives methodology ) to take action while neutralizing the threat. Yellow bars indicate a forced response to the user - which does not mean that the program is worse.

It perfectly illustrates the example below. Please pay attention to the result of F-Secure, which is somewhere in the second half, although it blocked all 417 samples - it's completely different than Kaspersky, ESET, eScan, Tencent, Fortiet and Avast.
