Free tools for IT administrators from Comodo
Comodo has made available to all administrators responsible for management and monitoring a number of products under the name Comodo ONE: https://one.comodo.com. Although the software is still in BETA phase, the manufacturer is already encouraging to try the application. Comodo ONE is a cloud-integrated platform that consists of three applications operating within one service:
- Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM)
- Service Desk (Ticketing system)
- Patch Management (systems supported at the moment: Windows XP x86, Windows Vista x86 & x64, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 2003 Server (SP2 or higher) x86 and x64, Windows 2003 Small Business Server, Windows 2003 Small Business Server R2, Windows 2008 Server (SP2 or higher) x86 and x64, Windows 2008 Small Business Server, Windows 2008 Server R2, Windows Small Business Server, Windows 2012 Server, Ubuntu 12.4)
In addition, the manufacturer ensures that the next versions of Comodo ONE will offer tools to manage Comodo's flagship solutions, namely the Endpoints themselves, the Comodo Endpoint Security Management console (CESM), and the Comodo Mobile Device Management (MDM) console. On the basis of the above information, one can draw the thesis that Comodo is preparing a coherent web console for administrators with access to all services at the same time.
